Prosperity Pensions is a Gibraltar-based, fully regulated pensions business dedicated exclusively to the design, administration and governance of high-quality retirement solutions.

We focus on delivering structured, transparent and forward-thinking pension arrangements for individuals and businesses, supported by experience, strong governance and long-term clarity.

Our Heritage

Our roots date back to 1974, when Abacus was established in Gibraltar. The firm later became a PwC member firm, before returning to independent ownership in 2012, at which point it diversified its service offerings, and the pensions division was born.

In 2015, we formally launched the pensions business as part of Abacus, responding to growing demand for specialist retirement solutions. Over time, the pensions business developed its own distinct expertise, focus and client base.

On 1 January 2026, we rebranded as Prosperity Pensions, becoming an independent, dedicated pensions business. This evolution allows us to focus entirely on our pension clients, strengthen our specialist capabilities and continue to grow with clarity and purpose.

While our structure has evolved, our team, experience and commitment remain unchanged - built on decades of Gibraltar heritage and trusted relationships.

Prosperity Pensions and Prosperity Wealth are two independent, separately regulated businesses with shared ownership and management.

This allows each firm to maintain specialist focus while collaborating where it benefits clients.

Where retirement planning requires both pension administration and regulated financial advice, there is seamless coordination between trustee and adviser. Clients may access optional support such as investment advice, retirement income planning and cash flow modelling — all within the same office, while maintaining full regulatory separation.
